About Us

If you're like me, the last thing you want to do is talk to your ex, but if you have children together that is exactly what you have to do. Before my divorce, we kept family appointments and events on a calendar which usually hung on the refrigerator or in the laundry room. It usually stayed up to date, and it helped to keep everyone on the same page.

When I was no longer in the home, I was out of the loop on school events, doctor visits, sporting events and the like. The only alternative was talking to the ex constantly. This was not something I wanted to do even before the divorce.

So CustodyPlanner.com was born. This is my effort to maintain communications for the sake of the kids while minimizing the amount of time I have to spend talking to her.

It turns out that other people don't care much for talking to their ex's either. So I made it public. Everything is still in development, so the site is constantly improving. If this site can help you through one of the most difficult times in your life, then great. That makes me feel a little better too.
